Drawing and painting robots is great because you're able to mess around creatively with basically human forms while venturing outside the bounds of normal anatomy. I thought it'd be interesting to place this massive robot in a pensive, vaguely classical pose, using the snowy mountains outside my window in Alaska as an inspiration for the backdrop.
